A Beginner’s Guide to Surviving and Thriving Fungus Protocol

Writer's picture: Holistic Living Innovations Holistic Living Innovations

So, you’ve been put on fungus protocol! You may be wondering just exactly what you’re going to eat. Not to fret! This guide will give you everything you need to not only survive, but THRIVE, during fungus protocol.

I would like to start by saying that you will get out of this nutrition program exactly what you put into it. After all, you can’t expect big results without making big changes. Our nutrition protocol will give you the tools that you need to stay healthy and reap benefits from for the rest of your life. My advice? Take it seriously and have fun with it!

With that said, here are a few things that will help you during fungus protocol:

1 - Use my recipes to your benefit!

I’ve spent years creating tasty recipes that are fungus protocol approved. Please do yourself a favor and use them! You can find them by creating an account on our website and navigating to “blog” under “patient resources”. I am always creating new and tasty recipes, so make sure you create your account so they go right to your inbox.

2 - Don’t be afraid to get creative!

Use my recipes as a starting point, and once you’re comfortable, start creating your own recipes! I would love to see/hear all about what you’re making. This is a beautiful hobby to explore, and a great way to put your love into the food you provide for yourself and your family. And, I’m a foodie at heart, so if you make something yummy, send us a picture! I’d love to see it!

3 - Always have organic (raw) cashews, macadamia nuts, avocados and roasted red peppers on deck!

Why? These foods make the PERFECT base for sauces. Because as you know, the sauce is what makes a dish go from “meh” to “excellent”! This is why I have spent a lot of time creating sauce recipes for you! TIP: I get my nuts in bulk from Costco to save on money, but if you don’t have access to Costco, here are a few links on Amazon that would work great for you!

4 - Always have dried and fresh herbs and spices in the house!

Without being able to use vinegar, you can’t have most dressings sold in stores. So, your flavor will come from where it should come from: dried and fresh herbs and spices! TIP: I buy all of my herbs and spices in bulk from Pinch Spice Market. They are high-quality, organic and fresh!!! Note: their entire collection is not on Amazon, so view their website here as well. They will blow your mind when you smell them. I like to buy mine in bulk because I go through herbs and spices rather quickly. I just refill my small, old spice jars that I had gotten a while ago from Publix or target with my Pinch Spice Market herbs/spices.  I specifically love their garlic powder (my favorite), onion powder, dill, cilantro, basil and thyme! Just be careful and read ingredients because some of their ingredients have organic cane sugar; you’ll obviously need to avoid those ones.

5 - Get our Bamboo Sweetener

Do yourself a favor and get our bamboo sweetener. Not only does it have a ton of health benefits, but it’s the perfect sugar substitute. I use bamboo sweetener in a lot of my recipes. You can also get pure stevia or pure monk fruit, I just personally like bamboo the best. Bamboo sweetener is sold exclusively in house.

6 - If you don’t already, get a high-speed blender!

You’re going to need a blender to make sauces and dressings. I have a Ninja and I use her every day!

7 - Coconut milk

Coconut milk makes a great base to sauces, soups, and many desserts. I am obsessed with this brand. I love that there are no gums or additives and I love that it’s in a cardboard container with a lid. It is incredibly convenient and healthy! TIP: you can get 2 liters of coconut milk out of just one of these coconut milks. I get these glasses and I will take a glass, fill it half way with coconut milk and then the rest with filtered water. This helps preserve your coconut milk and save on money.

8 - Always have organic lime and organic lemon on deck!

Lemons and limes help pick up the heat for vinegar-less food! If you're asked to avoid citrus fruits for your protocol, ask us before using.

And that’s all, folks! I truly hope this makes it easier to survive and thrive during fungus protocol! As with everything in life, it’s really what you make of it. If this blog post helped you, please feel free to comment your thoughts below!

Happy Cooking!

God Bless,

Taylor
