Ingredients Servings: 2
2 sweet potatoes (white or orange)
1/2 tsp garlic powder OR 1 tsp of Asafoetida/Hing if you’re avoiding garlic (I only use this brand because most Hing on the market is mainly filled with wheat)
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1/2 tsp of black pepper
4 tsp dried thyme
Drizzle olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to a low broil
Cut potatoes into french fry size
Place cut potatoes onto a baking tray
Add all spices on top and drizzle with oil.
Mix around so that herbs and oil are distributed evenly.
Bake on low broil for 20 minutes
Remove fries and stir.
Bake on high broil for 5-7 minutes (depending on how crispy you want them)
Remove and serve! Best served with our signature creamy avocado-cilantro dip (see here).
