That sad, disappointed look on your face after we have said "no more coffee". I know your pain. I've been there! I used to drink coffee like it was water. But since I've stopped, I feel much better and I actually have MORE energy (and no more coffee breath! š)
I created this recipe for you. I see you! Your days of needing/wanting coffee are almost over, and your days of drinking better beverages are finally here. āŗļø
This recipe is dairy-free, theobromine/theophylline and paraxanthine-free, caffeine-free and fungus protocol approved!
YIELDS: 1
INGREDIENTS
1 cup coconut milk (I love using this brand)
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp organic vanilla powder (I use this brand) or alcohol-free vanilla extract
2 tsp bamboo xylose (sold exclusively at the office)
Black pepper (to taste)
Small pinch of salt (very small, this brings out the flavor in the spices)
DIRECTIONS
On the stovetop over medium heat, add the above ingredients and mix well (a whisk may come in handy to make sure all of the spices are thoroughly mixed in).
Heat until warm, stirring consistently.
Top with a bit more cinnamon.
Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy āŗļø
