This applesauce has become a staple in our home. It also makes the perfect gift, so if you make a little extra, your family, friends and neighbors are sure to love it too!
This recipe is SO easy to make and SO rewarding. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 🤍
This recipe is NOT suitable for fungus protocol because of the natural sugar content from the apples.
YIELD: 48 oz (fills a little over 2, 24 oz mason jars)
INGREDIENTS:
12 apples (I used the snack-sized apples from Costco because they’re so sweet)
3 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
2 1/4 cups filtered water
1/4 tsp sea salt (we like this brand)
3/4 cup bamboo sweetener (sold exclusively in the office)
DIRECTIONS:
Chop and core apples (Important: make sure you leave their skin ON)
Combine all ingredients together in a large pot
Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes (or until apples are soft)
Blend with an immersion blender until apples and their skin are well-blended (or until your desired consistency)
Enjoy!
God Bless,
Taylor
