AVOID: 

 

YOU MAY NOT EAT OR TOUCH: Whole grains (wheat, brown rice, barley, millet, rye and oat. ), meat (beef, pork, veal, elk, lamb, liver and other organ meats, chicken, turkey, ham, fish, bison, cod, crab, tuna, herring, salmon, trout, oysters, clams and mussels, eggs, dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt), legumes (black beans, garbanzo beans, chick peas, edamame (green soybeans), green peas, kidney beans, lentils, pinto beans, roasted and soybeans), seeds and nuts (sunflower seeds and butter, almonds, pistachio nuts and hazelnuts), dark leafy vegetables (broccoli, collard greens, spinach, turnip greens, romaine lettuce, kale, Chinese broccoli and mustard greens), vegetables (asparagus, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, red potatoes, sweet potatoes, artichokes), fruits (citrus fruits, avocados, bananas, dates, pineapples, oranges, grapes, grapefruits, prunes, raisins, peaches, nectarines, watermelons, papaya, cantaloupe and lemons, dried fruits, dried plums and dried apricots), nutritional yeast, brewer's yeast, B vitamin fortified cereals, B complex supplements and other foods fortified with B vitamins. Avoid touching grasses, plants, trees, flowers, walking in the gardens, etc.

 

REPLACEMENTS:

 

INSTEAD, YOU MAY EAT OR USE THE FOLLOWING:  Grains/Pasta Options: (cooked white rice*, white pasta*, rice noodles, noodles made from all-purpose flour, cream of rice hot cereal); Snacking options: (rice crackers, rice cakes); Dairy Options: (parmesan cheese, cottage cheese, cream cheese, goat cheese, soft cheese, maple syrup, Vegetable/Starch Options: (cauliflower steamed or well-cooked, fried or well-cooked potato); Meat Options: (well-cooked or deep fried fish), Nut and Seed Options: (sesame seeds, roasted pumpkin seeds, cashews, brazil nuts), salt, olive oil, sesame oil, Fruits: (blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, cherries); Beverages: (black coffee, and purified water). 
 

* When cooking rice or pasta, cook with a lot of water and drain the water after cooking.
