What is Holistic Nutrition?

Holistic nutrition is a natural approach to achieving balance through the foods we eat and drink. To stay as healthy as possible and to maintain balance, we should be eating a diet of primarily fruits and vegetables. In fact, the recommended diet should be 90% fruits and vegetables.

Do you feel like you never have enough energy? Are you suffering from stomach issues, unexplainable inflammation, or migraines? Or maybe you’re trying to lose weight, and no matter what new fad diet you try, nothing seems to work?

According to a major new analysis by the Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) published in The Lancet, found that over 95% of the world’s population has health problems, with over a third having more than five ailments . This world has people trained to think that suffering with these issues is normal, claiming it is a “part of life” or “in their genetic makeup”, and that they must take medications (that usually spawn their own side-effects) to make the original symptoms go away. 

 

So, why? Why are so many people suffering from these debilitating diseases? 

This is not how it has to be. The answer starts with the foods we choose to eat and drink. This is something many people don’t realize.

Our Mother Earth has provided us all of the necessary things we need to live long, healthy, happy lives! And that is what we are here to help with. Taylor and Dr. Chris will begin by conducting a thorough health history assessment to fully understand your health history, symptoms, conditions, medications/supplements currently being taken. They will also ask you several questions to gain a full understanding of your health goals. You will then choose a package (listed below) that works right for you!

Putting it all together

Based on the information you provided in the consultation and the package you selected, Taylor will provide you with a personalized nutrition plan that is tailored specifically to your dietary needs, health goals and lifestyle.

Private, Plant-Based Cooking Lesson

From using nuts to make vegan “meat”, to using cashews and cauliflower to make “cheese”, Taylor will show you hidden gems to make your lives easier and your plates tastier! Without help or research, plant-based cooking may seem intimidating at first. Taylor's cooking classes are designed to break those barriers and show you how easy it can be! She will show you how you can still eat your favorite meals without compromising taste, just in a more healthier, mindful, way!

With Taylor's knowledge in healthy cooking and Dr. Chris's doctoral knowledge of the human body, they make a great team! Taylor and Dr. Chris work together to help you truly understand your own body and come up with a nutrition plan that works best for you and your health goals. With them working together, you can ensure you will receive the best support, nutritional advice and treatment possible. 

 

One of the many benefits to working with Dr. Chris is his ability to provide nutritional testing. As an example, you may have an issue with chronic fatigue. Most times, this can be corrected with a change in diet. However, certain medications you may be taking make it harder for your body to absorb certain nutrients. With nutritional testing, Dr. Chris is able to understand which nutrients you’re deficient in, so that you can take supplements and make changes accordingly in your meal plan. Dr. Chris also offers chiropractic care, applied kinesiology, quantum neurology and neuro emotional technique to help assist you even further in your journey of health and wellness!
