Food Replacements
You may be wondering how you will survive the next few weeks without cheese. The first thing to remember is this is only temporary. And, the more strict you are with this, the faster your results will be! And the great news is that, if your nutrition specific nutrition protocol allows it, w have many product replacements for you! We have spent years researching, tasting and cooking with all different dairy-free products. Many dairy-free products are loaded in toxins, and some just taste absolutely terrible. So if you plan to replace your dairy products with dairy-free products, please use the recommendations listed below. This will ensure that you're getting the highest quality and best tasting dairy-free products on the market.
Milk Replacements
-
Many dairy-free milks are loaded in additives that can negatively impact our GI. The following brands are free of additives and great quality. "Elmhurst" (we love their walnut milk), Malk Organics, and Califia Farms Organic Almond Milk - 3 Ingredients. (note: not all of Califia Farms products are free of additives. Please only get this specific almond milk if you choose this brand). These products are available at Publix, Amazon, at many natural health food stores and on their websites.
Creamer Replacements
-
We like to use Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk, Laird superfood creamers and/or any of the dairy-free milks listed above for creamer replacements. TIP: Frothing the milk and topping it with honey and cinnamon is great!
Cheese Replacements
-
There are many dairy-free cheese replacements on the market, but most of them include harmful food additives and additional toxins. The only dairy-free cheeses we recommend our patients include the following brands: Primal Kitchen Cheese Dips (found at Loves Whole Foods) and Miyokos (found at Loves Whole Foods and Target in Port Orange).

Yogurt Replacements
-
There are many dairy-free yogurts on the market, but most of them also include harmful food additives and additional toxins. The only dairy-free yogurts we recommend to our patients include the brands listed below because they have no food additives and no sugar added (and they taste delicious!). These brands are: "CocoJune" and GTS. You can find these on their websites and at Loves Whole Foods. *check ingredients to make sure they align with your nutrition program*
Butter Replacements
-
The best replacement for butter that we recommend is 100% organic, cold pressed olive oil, found on amazon and at Target and Publix. You may also use organic, grass-fed ghee, organic coconut oil, organic macadamia nut oil, or avocado oil (only use the Chosen Foods brand, as many other brands are actually comprised of inflammatory seed oils). Alternatively, Miyokos has a great variety of dairy-free butters that can be found at Target and many grocery stores.
